Forums are provided to allow for collaboration with problem-solving, technical questions, questions about issues, etc.. Each course has a forum that can be freely used by students to help each other with questions. You are encouraged to visit the forum several times per week. If someone has posted a question that you can answer, or at least provide some sort of guidance, feel free to post to the thread.
If you have a question you need answered, post your question in the forum. Then check back frequently to see if your question has been answered. If there is a question posted that you can answer, feel free to do so. This is a collaborative site that doesn't depend upon the instructor to answer all of the questions. Both questions and answers should come from class members.

Note that you must be a registered user to participate in the forums. To become a registered user, you must register at the forum and then await approval, which you will receive by return mail. Since I only allow class members into the forum, you must use your regular EIU username as your forum ID when you register. Then I must manually approve you for membership. Anyone not using their official EIU username will not be approved. Since I only check the forums once a day (and sometimes not on weekends), it make take a day or two for you to receive approval via email.
