Announcements

Expectations of all students

All students are expected to do the following (as applicable) during the first two weeks of the semester:

• Set up an RSS reader and subscribe to the feeds for your course (This step is optional for MIS 5105 students)

• Set up an RSS feed and inform me of the url of the feed (via WebCT email) so I can add your feed to your class feed aggregation (optional for MIS 5105 students)

• Register for the forum (make sure you read the instructions on the collaborative assignments page before registering as your username must follow a prescribed format).  (MIS 4330 and MIS 4530 only)

• Update your profile in the Class Collaborative Site (MIS 5105 only)

• Log onto WebCT and read your email

All students are expected to do the following throughout the semester:

• Participate in collaboration with other students using the tools and venue prescribed for your class (see the collaborative assignment linked to your course)

• Check the announcements (this page) daily for general announcements and your course page for course-specific announcements

• Check your RSS reader daily (MIS 4330 and MIS 4530 only)

• Check the Class Collaborative Site daily for new material (MIS 5105 only)

• Check your WebCT mail daily

• Check the class forum daily (MIS 4330 and MIS 4530 only)

Notes on Grading of Collaboration

• I do not announce the grading periods.  They can be 3-5 weeks long.

 

 

Keep up with assignments.  Don't feel like this guy halfway through the semester!
